Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Desktop/PC Technician to support the SOCOM IT Enterprise contract at MacDill AFB, FL. The role provides Tier I–II technical support for end-user hardware, software, connectivity, and device lifecycle management.

You will work with multiple IT teams and vendors to ensure reliable operation of desktop and laptop PCs, printers, and mobile devices. The successful candidate will have DoD TS/SCI clearance, and demonstrable experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network

Qualifications

• Min 6 years with HS Diploma, 4 years with AS/AA, or 2 years with BS/BA.
• At least 1 year as PC Technician or Help Desk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Provide Tier I–II technical support.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup.
• Maintain software inventory and licensing; assist with upgrades.
