Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Desktop/Workstation Support professional to provide hands-on assistance for desktops, laptops, and workstations in physical and virtual environments, ensuring reliable operation and secure configurations.

You will diagnose hardware and OS issues, perform imaging and patching with SCCM, and collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to deliver a seamless user experience using ServiceNow and Jira for ticket tracking.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a systems support role and/or workstation/desktop support.
• Experience with customer service and communicating with customers.
• Experience following standard operating procedures to prevent security violations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, and workstations (physical and virtual) to end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware failures, OS issues, application errors, and connectivity problems.
• Perform workstation imaging, deployments, upgrades, and patching using SCCM.
• Maintain secure and compliant workstation configurations by following security best practices.
• Manage user permissions and workstation access using Active Directory fundamentals.
• Respond to service requests and incidents with timely resolutions.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Support and maintain peripherals and related workstation technologies.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to deliver a seamless support experience.
• Utilize ServiceNow and Jira to manage and track support requests.
• Leverage automation or scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication throughout the support process.
