Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with TS/SCI clearance for on-site support in Bethesda, MD, supporting a DIA-NDOC DOMEX Technology Platform contract. You will work with systems, software, and operations teams to secure cloud and containerized environments and ensure secure SDLC practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration in an Agile setting, vulnerability management, and development of automation for security compliance, with opportunities for remote tasks based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or eligibility.
• 8–12 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, or 6–10 with Master’s.
• DoD 8570 IAT certifications and ability to obtain PUA/elevated access.
• Experience hardening Linux hosts and applying DISA STIG.
• Experience securing Kubernetes platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and provide feedback on cybersecurity artifacts and architecture.
• Assess BOE results to support RMF cybersecurity authorization processes.
• Perform periodic vulnerability assessments for cloud-based systems.
• Implement and manage security controls for containerized apps and cloud infra.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and software teams to ensure secure coding.
• Integrate security measures into SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and tools.
• Develop scripts and automation for STIG compliance and validation.
• Operate continuous monitoring for cloud-based architectures.
• Support government cybersecurity officials with IATT, ATO, and CR packages.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security threats and best practices.
