Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Cyber Security Engineer to support a long-term DIA-NDOC DOMEX platform in Bethesda, MD. The role involves securing cloud-based architectures, containerized apps, and CI/CD pipelines within an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, software teams, and government partners, applying DISA STIGs, RMF processes, and advanced security controls to protect critical DoD assets.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility and ability to obtain Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of related cyber security experience or Master’s with 6–10 years.
• DoD 8570 mandatory IAT level II or higher certs and Linux+.
• Experience hardening Linux hosts and applying DISA STIGs.
• Experience securing Kubernetes platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess system cybersecurity artifacts and provide feedback to security teams.
• Review BOE results to support DoD/IC RMF processes.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis for cloud systems.
• Implement and manage security controls for containerized apps and cloud infra.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and software teams to ensure secure coding.
• Develop automation scripts for STIG compliance and validation.
