Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support DISA GSM-O II. The role emphasizes automated CI/CD, security hardening, and cloud deployments in AWS, with focus on Elastic/Kafka stacks and DoD compliance. This is a remote-first role with required on-site support near Ft. Meade, MD or Scott AFB, IL as needed.

You will work closely with DevOps, Security, Cloud, and App teams in a distributed Agile environment to deliver secure, reliable systems and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 4–8 years of experience or Master’s with 2–6 years.
• Experience in Agile software development and rapid learning on growing projects.
• Proficient in Git/Bitbucket, Linux, and CI/CD toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and Bitbucket.
• Deploy and maintain Kafka/Elastic clusters and integrations in AWS cloud.
• Apply DoD STIGs and configure security controls in pipelines and deployments.
• Build centralized dashboards for health, performance, security posture, and FinOps.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Cloud and App teams in an Agile, distributed setup.
