Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in McLean, VA seeks a Desktop/Workstation Support specialist to deliver hands-on IT assistance for desktops, laptops, and workstations in physical and virtual environments. You will diagnose hardware, OS, and app issues and perform imaging, deployments, upgrades, and patching using SCCM.

You will maintain secure configurations, manage Active Directory permissions, respond to service requests, and collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a systems support role and/or workstation/desktop support.
• Experience delivering great customer service and communicating with customers.
• Experience following standard operating procedures to prevent security violations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, and workstations (physical and virtual).
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, application, and connectivity issues.
• Perform imaging, deployments, upgrades, and patching with SCCM.
• Maintain secure workstation configurations and manage Active Directory permissions.
• Respond to service requests and incidents; document steps and solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams; use ServiceNow and Jira.
• Utilize PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
