Job summary
D2 Consulting in Springfield, VA is seeking a Systems Administrator (Desktop Support) with ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance to join our intelligence team. You will deliver expert end-user support, maintain desktops, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems on-site.
The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, workstation imaging, and cross-site coordination with on-site and remote users. A minimum of 3+ years' experience and Security+ or CASP certification are required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or desktop support.
- Experience with desktop imaging, software deployment, and hardware upgrades.
- Security+ or CASP certification and ITIL v4 Foundations are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support and advanced troubleshooting for desktops and peripherals.
- Manage operating system deployments, updates, and imaging.
- Configure and maintain workstation/server hardware and software.
- Support networked computers, printers, and endpoints in local/remote environments.
- Document work processes and mentor less experienced staff.
