Job summary

Desert Financial Credit Union is seeking a Teller in Mesa, AZ to deliver accurate and courteous service to members at the branch. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and routine account servicing while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

You will build relationships through consultative conversations, promote digital tools, and support members’ financial wellbeing. Notary and NMLS licenses are preferred; HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in sales and service required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Notary and NMLS licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted member relationships by welcoming members to the branch, managing lobby traffic and scheduling, and providing courteous, professional support that fosters long-term trust.
• Process member transactions with accuracy and compliance, including deposits, withdrawals, check payments, and account servicing.
• Engage members in consultative conversations to identify financial needs and submit referrals that support wellbeing and relationships.
• Promote and assist with digital tools and CRM systems to complete transactions accurately and encourage self-service adoption.
• Participate in coaching and cross-training to support branch goals and personal development.
• Other duties as assigned.
