Job summary

Desert Financial Credit Union in Phoenix is seeking a friendly Teller to provide accurate, efficient service at the branch. You will handle deposits and withdrawals, answer questions, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that supports members’ financial wellbeing.

You will use core CRM tools, follow policies, and participate in coaching to grow product knowledge and referrals. A high school diploma and at least one year in sales and service are required; Notary within 30 days is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of sales and service experience required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Notary certification within 30 days preferred.
• Previous financial institution experience preferred.
• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to procedures; resolves discrepancies proactively.
• Clear communication and active listening to understand member needs.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted member relationships by welcoming members, managing lobby traffic, and providing courteous, professional service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, check payments, and account servicing with precision and compliance.
• Identify member financial needs through consultative conversations and submit referrals.
• Use CRM systems and digital tools to complete transactions and promote self-service options.
• Participate in coaching and cross-training to support branch goals and personal development.
• Other duties as assigned.
