Job summary

Desert Financial Credit Union in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Teller to deliver accurate, friendly service and help members manage daily transactions with care and compliance.

You will process deposits and withdrawals, guide members to digital tools, and identify needs to provide basic guidance and referrals. High school diploma required; 1+ year sales/service, cash handling preferred; notary within 30 days is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of Sales and Service experience required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Demonstrates high accuracy in processing transactions and record-keeping.
• Professional, patient, and courteous communication; ability to build trust.
• Adaptable to evolving processes and technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members to the branch and manage lobby traffic with courtesy.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, checks, and account servicing with accuracy.
• Identify member needs through consultative conversations and provide referrals.
• Promote digital tools and CRM usage to improve self-service adoption.
• Participate in coaching and cross-training to support branch goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
