Job summary

State Building Services in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to nurture relationships with property managers and building owners while coordinating restoration and maintenance projects.

You will visit client sites across the Charlotte region, identify opportunities to protect and enhance assets, prepare professional estimates, and collaborate with our operations team to deliver exceptional results and long-term customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in account management, business development, commercial sales, hospitality, facilities, construction services, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel throughout the Charlotte region with occasional travel to surrounding markets.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with property managers, facility managers, engineers, and building owners.
• Visit customer properties throughout Charlotte and surrounding markets to identify restoration and maintenance opportunities.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend practical solutions.
• Prepare professional estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate projects with our operations team to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
• Follow up before, during, and after every project.
• Grow existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities within your portfolio.
• Engage in business development opportunities with current and prospective clients.
