Job summary

Rite Rug in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Specialty Account Manager to develop and grow relationships within residential and commercial accounts. You will serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure project success and profitable account growth.

Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years in account management within construction products, strong communication, and willingness to travel to customer locations. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in account management or sales in construction products
• Experience with builders, GCs, multifamily developers or commercial customers preferred
• Experience with shower doors, mirrors, bath hardware, shelving, or related specialty products desirable
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and project documents
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal departments.
• Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through responsive communication and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements, timelines, and product needs.
• Promote products, services, and value-added solutions to increase market share within accounts.
• Coordinate with estimating, operations, scheduling, installation, and service teams for project execution.
• Review plans, specifications, and scope documents to confirm product requirements.
• Monitor project progress and address issues affecting quality, schedule, or satisfaction.
• Assist customers with product selection, technical information, and scope clarification.
• Ensure accurate order entry and documentation throughout project lifecycle.
