State Building Services in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to nurture relationships with property managers and building owners while coordinating restoration and maintenance projects.
You will visit client sites across the Charlotte region, identify opportunities to protect and enhance assets, prepare professional estimates, and collaborate with our operations team to deliver exceptional results and long-term customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Commercial Account Manager
Help shape the appearance of some of the Southeast's premier commercial buildings.
At State Building Services, we partner with owners and managers of Class A office buildings to restore and maintain architectural stone, metal, wood, terrazzo, and other specialty surfaces. From marble lobbies and elevator interiors to wood wall panels and exterior hardscapes, we help our customers protect the assets that define their buildings.
We're looking for a Commercial Account Manager who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and becoming a trusted resource for customers.
This is not a high-pressure, cold-calling sales position.
Instead, you'll work with an established customer base, visit beautiful commercial properties, identify opportunities to improve and protect building assets, and coordinate with our operations team to deliver exceptional results.
If you enjoy helping people, communicating professionally, and being part of a team, we'd love to meet you.
After your first year, you'll be known by your customers as someone they trust to solve problems quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver on commitments.
You will have developed strong relationships across a portfolio of commercial properties while helping customers protect and enhance some of the region's most prestigious buildings.
You will represent our brand well, grow the business, and feel part of the team.
You enjoy working with people.
You're organized, responsive, and dependable.
You naturally notice details that others miss.
You communicate professionally, follow through on commitments, and genuinely enjoy helping customers look good to their bosses and building owners.
You don't need to know everything about architectural restoration—we'll teach you. What matters most is your curiosity, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
We're a growing, locally owned company where relationships matter.
We have a great brand that is known for quality, communication, and doing things first class.
You'll work directly with company leadership, enjoy significant autonomy, and have the opportunity to make a visible impact on our customers and our business.
Rather than being one employee among thousands, you'll become an important part of a close-knit team that values integrity, craftsmanship, responsiveness, and long-term customer relationships.
If you're looking for a career where your work makes a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
