Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service, write work orders, and handle OTC transactions. You will apply extensive product knowledge to assist customers and coordinate parts with vendors while maintaining clean, safe service areas across TA locations.

The role requires excellent communication, previous cashier or customer service experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in cashiering and customer service; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain products and services clearly and upsell where appropriate.
• Flexible with hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; prepare quotes and communicate ETA.
• Secure Purchase Orders and coordinate quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Maintain clean service counters, showroom, and restrooms.
• Ensure the safety of customers and team members.
• Support overall customer experience by knowledge of products and services.
