Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to deliver first-rate service at our travel centers. You will write work orders, process OTC transactions, and coordinate quotes and purchase orders to keep travelers on the road.

Strong customer interaction and product knowledge are required. Ideal candidates have cashier and customer service experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in cashier and customer service is preferred.
• Ability to up-sell products with integrity and professionalism.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process work orders and OTC transactions.
• Prepare and communicate quotes to customers and secure purchase orders.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and restrooms.
• Ensure safety of customers and team members.
• Handle a variety of payment types and manage end-of-shift reports.
