Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service through extensive knowledge of products and services, write and process work orders, and handle OTC transactions. You will source parts, prepare quotes, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely service for travelers.

Strong cashier and customer service background, professional appearance, and ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays) are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; Prepare ETA Work Orders and quotes.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Ensure cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
• Maintain safety of customers and team members.
• Handle payments and understand various payment types.
• Provide high-quality service to travelers and upsell where appropriate.
