Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service at TA Truck Service locations nationwide. You will write work orders, process OTC transactions, and coordinate parts deliveries while maintaining accurate quotes and purchases for customers.

The role requires strong cashier and customer service experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment. TA offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; repair or parts shop experience a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; prepare quotes and secure Purchase Orders.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Maintain tidy service counters, showroom, and restrooms; ensure safety of customers and team members.
• Handle payments and understand various payment types; prepare end of shift reports.
