Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, the North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group, is seeking a Service Advisor in Oklahoma City to greet customers, coordinate repair requests, and estimate repair costs within guidelines. The role supports the Service Manager with warranty documentation and shop coordination.

Key duties include processing repair orders, scheduling with Foremen, and advising customers on service needs while pursuing additional labor opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years' experience in related field
• Computer experience (preferred)
• Strong customer relations and communication skills
• Good leadership abilities
• Must have a positive can-do attitude

Responsibilities

• Coordinates customer repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment
• Coordinates with Foremen for proper work scheduling of all shop business
• Ensures customers receive the most expedient service by understanding repair requests
• Works with Service Manager to ensure timely action and warranty resolution
• Assures all documentation for sale of labor (customer, internal and warranty) is complete and properly executed
• Inputs repair order information to data processing system and closes repair orders
• Maintains and administers shop tool and supply requirements and status
• Informs the Service Manager of all customer complaints for timely handling
• Advises customers of needed service work and suggests additional labor/parts
• Participates in training to stay current on technical and warranty issues
• Assists in maintaining a clean shop and office area
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor
