Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crews, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete jobs per contract specifications. The role requires prior Foreperson/Crew Leader experience and emphasizes safety, leadership, and efficient work execution.

You will direct daily field activities, assign tasks, manage records, and ensure completion to job standards. This full‑time position offers health benefits, a 401K option, and PTO, with potential storm restoration assignments.

Qualifications

• Must meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Ability to follow verbal or written directives and safety rules.
• Capability to delegate work and accountability for crew performance.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
• Assign tasks to crew members and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work in a safe and professional manner.
• Organize job assignments for maximum efficiency.
• Notify property owners and obtain access permissions as needed.
• Ensure PPE and safe practices on site.
• Inspect work to contract specifications and report completion.
• Keep accurate time, equipment, and material records.
• Conduct daily truck inspections and job briefings.
• Restock supplies and maintain equipment; report issues.
• Travel for storm restoration work as required.
