Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts seeks a Foreperson to coordinate crews, equipment, and supplies to complete vegetation management projects per contract specifications. You will supervise daily tasks, plan assignments, and ensure safe, efficient execution on-site.

Expertise in outdoor work, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and symbols are required. A valid driver's license and first-aid/CPR certification are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Must follow verbal or written directives.
• Must delegate work and take accountability for crew performance.
• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Must adapt to field requirements and take independent action.
• Must have and maintain a driver’s license to drive company vehicle.
• Must work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew, equipment, tools and supplies to complete contracts.
• Direct crew members and manage equipment daily.
• Assign tasks and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally.
• Organize assignments for efficiency.
• Notify property owners and obtain access permissions.
