Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete vegetation management jobs according to contract specifications.

The role requires directing daily work, ensuring safety, managing tasks, and communicating with property owners; travel for storm restoration may be required, and a high school diploma and valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Meet and demonstrate qualifications of all crew positions.
• Follow verbal or written directives.
• Delegate work and ensure crew performance.
• Understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and equipment.
• Adapt to field requirements with minimal supervision.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and operate company vehicles.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew and manage equipment and supplies daily.
• Assign tasks to crew members and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally.
• Organize job assignments for efficiency.
• Notify property owners and obtain access for work.
• Ensure PPE use and safety compliance.
• Inspect work to contract specifications and complete reports.
• Keep records of time, equipment, and materials used.
