Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, assign work, and ensure safety and efficiency on job sites in the field. You will coordinate with management to meet deadlines, mentor crew members, and troubleshoot site issues.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety training, and maintaining records while liaising with property owners and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs, including effective use of people power and equipment.
