Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Crew Foreperson to lead daily field operations, plan tasks, and enforce safety protocols on crew jobs. You will train staff, coordinate with management, and ensure timely, safe completion of work at job sites.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings and symbols, with responsibilities including supervision of workers and interface with customers and property owners.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to organize and multi-task in field conditions.
• Able to interpret drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conduct field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforce safe work practices and provide safety training per policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with property owners to obtain access and coordinate work.
• Obtain permissions to perform required work.
• Maintain good customer relations and report on completed work and crew performance.
• Investigate incidents and minor damage claims as delegated.
• Maintain accurate records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Manage crew costs through efficient use of manpower and equipment.
• Furnish reports on incidents, outages, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with customers, police, and fire departments when barriers are needed.
• Ensure safety barriers, signs, and PPE use; respond to hazards promptly.
• Inspect and arrange repairs for tools and equipment.
• Maintain truck and worksite housekeeping.
