Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to ensure daily operation productivity and enforce safety protocols on job sites. You will troubleshoot field issues, mentor crew members, and coordinate with management on hiring needs and deadlines.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work at heights. A valid driver's license and adherence to union wage scales are essential components of the position.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organization skills and be able to multi-task.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Education or experience in utility field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Promotes good customer relations and manages public safety during operations.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Inspects and maintains tools and equipment; ensures DOT compliance for vehicles.
