Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations in the field. You will plan work, train staff, and enforce safety protocols while coordinating with supervisors and property owners to ensure successful, safe tree-trimming projects.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a keen focus on safety, with competitive hourly pay and full-time expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to work extended hours and in varying weather conditions.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners and customers.
• Promotes good customer relations through effective completion of assigned work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports for crew performance.
• Coordinates with foreperson and utility reps; reports completed work and incidents.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspection requirements on vehicles.
