Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organization skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Able to drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not to exceed 300 pounds due to equipment limits.
• No fear of heights.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per policy and OSHA.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains accurate crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of resources.
