Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, plan work, and enforce safety protocols on job sites. You will coordinate with management to meet deadlines, mentor crew members, and ensure quality and efficiency while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to train staff, interpret orders, and manage equipment and timesheets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Understand drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Weight limit per safety policy (approx. 300 lbs).
• No fear of heights.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new/ revised units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains customer relations and secures access for work.
• Prepares reports on orders completed, crew time, and incidents.
• Controls crew costs and uses equipment and labor efficiently.
• Furnishes reports to foreperson and utility reps.
