Job summary

Carr’s Tree Service is seeking dedicated crew members for hands-on outdoor work across residential, commercial, and municipal trees. You’ll follow safety policies, wear PPE, and participate in daily safety briefings while supporting pruning, removal, and emergency storm response tasks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ability to work in all weather, and operating equipment such as chainsaws and wood chippers under training. A valid license and willingness to train in DOT-related tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal operations.
• Ground operations including brush chipping, brush mowing, chainsaw work, and site cleanup.
• Stump grinding and debris removal.
• Emergency tree services such as storm damage response.
• Assist climbers and arborists with rigging systems and aerial operations.
• Staging of equipment and materials for safe and efficient tree work.
