Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work well within a team.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE, participate in daily safety meetings.
• Tree Care Operations: Pruning, trimming, and removal; ground work including brush chipping and site cleanup; stump grinding and debris removal; emergency storm response.
• Climbing & Rigging Support: Assist climbers with rigging systems and aerial operations; staging equipment for safe work.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely operate chainsaws, wood chippers, pole saws, and brush mowers; inspect equipment daily.
• Customer & Public Interaction: Interact professionally with property owners and municipal officials; represent Carr’s Tree Service with professionalism.
• Teamwork & Development: Work with crew and leadership to complete jobs efficiently; be open to coaching and feedback.
