Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Patient Care Consultant (Operations Lead) to guide patients through treatment options, discuss financial solutions, and move care forward with empathy. You will be the trusted advisor, working closely with clinicians to ensure patients understand plans and feel supported at every step.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in patient coordination, consultative sales, healthcare, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.

Responsibilities

• Meet one-on-one with patients to review treatment plans and recommendations.
• Explain treatment options, insurance benefits, and payment options clearly.
• Build trust and patient confidence by addressing questions and barriers to treatment.
• Create and present customized payment/financing options.
• Use consultative communication to help patients make informed decisions.
• Partner with doctors and team for a seamless, patient-first experience.
• Track consultations, treatment acceptance, and follow-up activity using CRM tools.
• Support scheduling, insurance verification, and collections processes.
• Assist in reinforcing daily office priorities and non-clinical tasks.
