Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Patient Care Consultant (Operations Lead) who will guide patients through treatment paths, work with clinicians, and help them understand options and financing. You’ll build trust, explain benefits, and collaborate with the team to deliver a seamless, patient-first experience.

In this role you’ll meet patients, present plans, discuss insurance and payments, and support scheduling and coordination while upholding company policies and standards across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in patient coordination, consultative sales, healthcare, or customer service is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to explain treatment options, financing, and insurance in clear terms.
• Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, or patient management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet one-on-one with patients to review treatment plans and recommendations.
• Explain treatment options, insurance benefits, and financing in clear language.
• Build trust by addressing questions, concerns, and barriers to care.
• Create and present customized payment and financing options.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver a patient-first experience.
• Track consultations and follow-up activity using practice management tools.
• Support appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and collections processes.
• Ensure interactions comply with company policies and regulations.
