Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to facilities, maintain and repair tablets, and provide technical support across our products. You will configure tablets, manage user access, and ensure secure operation within correctional environments.

Responsibilities include training inmates on tablet usage, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining inventory while delivering timely problem resolution and quality service across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in difficult environments such as corrections.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products and equipment.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users and manage user accounts/permissions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tablets and related systems.
• Train incarcerated individuals on tablet usage and safety.
• Coordinate with dispatchers for assignments and ETA, and assist with inventory control.
