Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to facilities and uphold, repair, and resolve issues on our products and equipment, including tablets. The role may be onsite, hybrid or roving, delivering technical and administrative support to customers and ensuring tablets are fully utilized.

Responsibilities include setting up tablets, assisting with software updates, coordinating with dispatchers, and training users.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in difficult environments such as corrections.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on all company products and equipment.
• Set up and maintain individual tablets for users.
• Repair phones, kiosks, video terminals, WAPs, tablets within correctional facilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tablets and related devices.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and provide ETA for arrival and departure information.
• Train incarcerated individuals on proper tablet use and safety.
