Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to facilities, maintain and repair tablets, phones, kiosks and related equipment across assigned sites, providing on-site, hybrid or roving support.

You will set up tablets, manage user accounts, assist with software updates, train staff and inmates on tablet usage, and coordinate with dispatch to receive assignments. This role emphasizes safety and inventory management across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience communicating with customers and coordinating service.
• Ability to work in difficult environments (corrections) and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users and manage tablet security.
• Troubleshoot tablets, perform software updates and installations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers for assignments and ETA information.
• Train users, including incarcerated individuals, on proper tablet usage.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and tools across sites.
