Job summary

Aventiv Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to facilities, setting up and maintaining tablets and other equipment. You will troubleshoot devices, provide technical support, and coordinate with dispatchers to optimize tablet usage across sites.

The role can be onsite, hybrid, or roving, with emphasis on security, training incarcerated individuals, and maintaining inventory across multiple locations.
Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand customer service needs for facilities using company products (Offender Calling System, Video Visitation, Kiosk, Tablets).
• Strong multitasking and prioritization; quick learning of products and features.
• Experience resolving issues with tablets, phones, and related equipment in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to maintain, repair, and resolve issues on company products and equipment.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users; manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot tablet systems, provide technical support, and perform software updates.
