Job summary

Aventiv Technologies in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to customer sites, install and repair tablets, kiosks, and related equipment across facilities. You will diagnose issues, perform software updates, and ensure devices are secure and properly configured.

You will coordinate with dispatch, provide customer training, manage inventory, and support administrative tasks while delivering high-quality service to diverse users in correctional facility environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple facilities and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products and equipment.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users and manage user accounts.
• Troubleshoot tablet, kiosk and video terminal issues and coordinate with dispatchers for assignments.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and incarcerated individuals as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure return of damaged or extra inventory to multiple sites.
