Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent 2 - Justice to support a growing portfolio of justice projects nationwide. You will plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects, including safety, schedule and cost control, while coordinating with owners, architects and field staff.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years construction experience, at least 3 years in field supervision, and a background in Lean principles and large justice/corrections work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).
• Prior experience working on large Justice / Corrections construction project (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program and mentor staff to maintain injured-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage site care, custody and control.
• Lead meetings and participate in progress reviews and project meetings.
• Monitor project schedule and liaise with Project Manager on changes.
