Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced project operations specialist for the xPL Offsite OSM division. The role focuses on coordinating engineering, VDC coordination and on-site delivery with project teams, vendors and the xPL organization to support schedule and cost control on a Dallas-area project.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related fields and a minimum of 3 years’ experience, along with strong scheduling, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or construction, or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery and maintain delivery schedule aligned with Contract Items List (CIL).
• Manage submittals, transmittals, and RFIs for defined deliverables and variances.
• Review procurement and engineering packages to understand scope of work.
• Record and analyze Pending Change Orders (PCOs) and report findings onsite.
• Generate project reports covering schedule, material, manufacturing and engineering statuses.
• Assist in site readiness coordination including transportation and receiving requirements.
• Conduct inventory and ensure proper chain of custody for delivered items.
• Support delay back charges and claims with documentation.
