Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced project operations engineer for the xPL Offsite OSM division to support Dallas-area projects. You will coordinate project planning, engineering, VDC coordination, and generate basic financial reports while providing onsite delivery coordination and material hand-offs with the project team, vendors, and xPL organization as required by schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field and at least 3 years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of construction/industrial experience.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling and contract documents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel 90-100% on a regular basis.
• Proficient with MS Office and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with xPL management to identify issues and develop resolution plans.
• Maintain project documentation system with photos, meeting minutes, and drawings.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and align with project contracts and CIL.
• Manage submittals, transmittals, and RFIs for defined deliverables.
• Review procurement and engineering packages for scope understanding.
• Record and report on Pending Change Order (PCO) reviews and site findings.
• Generate and deliver project reports (schedule, material status, etc.).
• Facilitate site readiness including transportation and delivery methods.
• Conduct inventory of xPL deliveries and obtain chain-of-custody signatures.
• Ensure pre-delivery data for environmental/storage compliance.
