Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced construction professional to perform daily project operations and engineering, coordinating planning, VDC coordination, and basic financial reporting on a high-travel project in Dallas, TX. You will support delivery coordination and material hand-offs with the project team, vendors, and xPL organization to meet the project schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CM, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years' experience.
• Field construction or engineering experience with scheduling knowledge.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel 90–100%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with xPL management to identify and discuss project issues and develop resolution plans.
• Maintain project documentation system with folders, minutes, drawings, and other docs.
• Coordinate delivery schedule and align with on-site sequence and contract items list.
• Manage submittals, transmittals, RFIs, and variances.
• Review procurement and engineering packages to understand scope.
• Record and manage Pending Change Order reviews and on-site analysis.
• Generate and deliver project reports on schedule, materials, and engineering status.
• Facilitate site readiness coordination including transportation and receiving requirements.
• Conduct inventory of deliveries and obtain chain of custody signatures.
• For equipment and deliveries, verify data storage and prep before delivery.
• Conduct material reinspection during extended storage periods.
• Support delay back charges and claims documentation.
• Assist in collecting and uploading vendor/integrator close-out docs.
• Participate in activities to ensure safe project deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.
