Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support xPL Offsite OSM efforts. You will coordinate project planning, scheduling, VDC coordination, and generate basic financial reports, while ensuring on-site delivery aligns with project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or related field; minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Field construction or engineering experience with knowledge of project scheduling is highly desirable.
• Able to understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Strong problem solving and prioritization, with effective written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with project management fundamentals and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiar with PROCORE, ACC, SAP, and Clearstory.
• Heavy travel required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning and engineering activities to support project scheduling and delivery.
• Maintain project documentation system with folders, photos, meeting minutes, shop drawings, and other docs.
• Coordinate on-site delivery dates and align with the Contract Items List (CIL).
• Manage submittals, transmittals, and RFIs for defined deliverables and variances.
• Review procurement and engineering packages to understand scope for each vendor.
• Record and manage Pending Change Order (PCO) reviews and provide on-site analytics.
• Generate and deliver project reports on schedule, material status, and engineering docs.
• Facilitate site readiness with transportation schedules and material delivery methods.
• Conduct inventory and ensure chain of custody for delivered items.
• Ensure storage and environmental compliance for equipment deliveries; verify predecessor work.
