Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced project coordinator to support xPL Offsite OSM on a major Dallas-based project. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, VDC coordination, and generate basic financial reports on site.

You will travel 90-100% and work closely with project teams, vendors, and the xPL organization to ensure timely procurement, submittals, and RFI handling with attention to safety and quality.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or construction
• Able to understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and project schedule
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
• Self-starter with project management fundamentals in fast-paced environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with xPL management to identify project issues and develop resolutions
• Maintain project documentation system with photos, meeting minutes, drawings, and other documents
• Coordinate on-site delivery schedule aligned with project Contract Items List (CIL)
• Manage submittals, transmittals, and RFIs for defined deliverables and variances
• Review procurement packages to understand scope for each vendor
• Record and report on Pending Change Order (PCO) reviews and provide on-site analysis
• Generate project reports on schedule, materials, and engineering status
• Facilitate site readiness coordination including transportation and delivery methods
• Conduct inventory and obtain chain-of-custody signatures for delivered items
• Ensure storage and environmental readiness for equipment and deliveries
• Conduct material reinspection after extended storage
• Support delay back charges and claims documentation
• Assist in collecting close-out documentation from vendors and integrators
• Participate in safety and project delivery activities
• Other duties as assigned
