Job summary

InTown Suites seeks a Floating General Manager to oversee operations at assigned properties, stepping in for General Managers on off days or vacations. You’ll perform short-term market-wide assignments, lead guest services, and drive improvements in staffing and operations.

Role requires travel across the market, recruiting and training staff, and ensuring safety and quality. A strong background in front office and guest relations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management; supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong knowledge of front office operations and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
• Follow Daily Flow when acting as General Manager.
• Drive sales through local marketing and guest service as directed by Regional Operations Manager.
• Identify and manage repair, maintenance, safety, and policy issues.
• Assist in recruitment and training of staff.
• Monitor market competition and assist in cost and inventory control.
• Travel 90% within the market; overnight stays may be required.
