Job summary

InTown Suites seeks a Floating General Manager to cover assigned properties in the market, stepping in for regular GMs on days off or unavailable. You will manage operations, drive local sales, train staff, and ensure guest satisfaction across properties.

This role requires traveling up to 90% within the market, overseeing front office and related departments, and maintaining cost controls while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English for guest interaction and admin duties.
• Strong math skills to forecast, compute room revenue, occupancy and labor costs.
• Thorough knowledge of Front Office operations and related service standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and staff in stressful situations.
• Experience supervising and developing property staff.
• Willingness to travel 90% to other properties within the market.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in GM absence as needed.
• Follow the General Manager Daily Flow when acting as GM.
• Assist in recruitment of General Managers and staff.
• Provide training, development and support to property staff.
• Drive sales through local marketing and calls as directed.
• Ensure excellent guest service and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify and address life/safety, maintenance, and policy violations.
• Be prepared for overnight stays and travel as required.
