Job summary

First Onsite is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support leadership in evaluating, developing, and executing scopes of work. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams to keep budgets, schedules, and documentation on track.

Role involves aiding with change orders, daily site logs, safety meetings, and ensuring accurate billing and reporting. Requires 2+ years in restoration/construction and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restoration/construction industry, with knowledge in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, asbestos, and rebuild remediation
• Relevant leadership experience in project environments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Understand, evaluate, develop, and execute the scope of work with leadership
• Solicit, receive, and approve subcontractor proposals to perform work within budget
• Prepare project schedules including crew and subcontractor timelines
• Support and assist job crews and field teams
• Fill in for additional responsibilities including physical labor when needed
• Create and maintain job activity paperwork and inventories
• Maintain daily logs of conditions, activities, communications, and events
• Prepare reports and other administrative documents
• Monitor budget, gross profit margins, and schedules; flag risks
• Manage change orders and billing accuracy
• Conduct daily job site safety meetings
• Arrange permits as needed
• Maintain daily reports, sign-in timesheets, equipment records, moisture maps, and material sheets
• Review opportunities for change orders on defined scopes
• Assist with creating project schedules
• Issue work orders to subcontractors and manage scope/change orders
• Perform or support 24/7 availability
