Job summary

First Onsite is seeking an Assistant Project Manager who will work closely with leadership to evaluate, develop, and execute scopes of work across multiple projects. You will review subcontractor proposals, prepare schedules, and support crews while maintaining meticulous records and adherence to safety standards.

You will monitor budgets, margins, and timelines, acting as a bridge between leadership, clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience is required.
• 2+ years in restoration/construction including water, fire, mold or rebuild remediation is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, evaluate, develop, and execute the scope of work with leadership.
• Solicit and approve subcontractor proposals to stay within budget.
• Prepare project schedules for crews and subs.
• Support and manage job crews and daily site operations.
• Maintain accurate job records, change orders, and billing reviews.
• Monitor budgets, profit margins, and timelines; flag risks.
• Ensure site safety meetings and permit coordination as needed.
• Provide 24/7 availability as required.
