Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead large, diverse justice projects across the United States, building innovative, efficient, safe courthouses and corrections facilities and maintaining lasting partnerships with clients, design teams and subcontractors.

The role directs project operations with the Project Superintendent, oversees preconstruction, buyout, submittals, schedule development, cost forecasting and risk management, and travels as needed to

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Experience on large/complex Justice or Corrections projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to injury-free operations.
• Manages prestart process and coordination with preconstruction team.
• Oversees buyout, subcontractor pricing, and change management.
• Coordinates submittals, shop drawings, and approvals with architects/engineers.
• Develops and maintains project schedules; manages materials and procurement.
• Monitors budget, cost forecasts and project profitability.
