Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex courthouse and corrections projects across the United States. The role reports to the Project Superintendent and drives safety, preconstruction, buyout, subcontractor coordination, and schedule development.

You will manage risk, budgeting, and owner/architect communications while building relationships with clients and design teams. Willingness to travel and adapt to non-traditional hours is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Prior experience on large Justice/Corrections projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff.
• Manage preconstruction and buyout processes.
• Coordinate with design teams, subs, and owner.
• Develop and update project schedules using Lean methods.
• Prepare cost forecasts and budget reviews.
• Oversee subcontractor pay applications.
