Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex courthouse and corrections projects nationwide. You will oversee the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction management, strong leadership, and expertise in safety, scheduling, and lean processes. Travel and non-traditional hours are required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain injury-free environments.
• Manage prestart processes and coordinate with preconstruction team.
• Coordinate risk management and subcontractor approvals throughout project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project schedules, scopes, and budgets with the team.
• Lead monthly project reviews, progress and owner/architect meetings.
• Oversee subcontractor payments and change requests as part of project control.
