Job summary

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for medical visits.
• Answer the phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with enrolling and using MyChart.
• Enter, update and validate patient demographics, insurance & financial data.
• Coordinate with the care team and convey important details.
• Contact insurance companies for coverage / preapprovals as needed.
• Collect payments for copays, coinsurance and balances.
• Support paperwork completion and EPIC workqueues.
• Schedule referrals and follow-up visits.
• Ensure accurate scanning of documents into EPIC.
